We have just arrived home from Mercure Maldives Koodoo resort and cannot say enough about it. The weather could have been better but that did not detract from the beautiful facilities and the staff. All the staff were absolutely wonderful. They couldn't do enough for you and everyone greeted you with a genuine smile. The pool bar staff namely Prahdeep, Kamal and Kasun always greeted us with with such friendliness everything we came in. Ibrahim, Shari and Made in the dining room, Ali in the Vista all showed amazing attitude and service. All delivered with kindness and respect. We have been to this resort before and we will return at some stage.Highly recommend it.

Amazing, delicious drinks and food

We were 2 couples from Australia and we stayed in the Beach Villas (204 & 205). We want to say what an incredible and amazing week we had. From the time we landed in Male to being flown to the island to be welcomed by the reception staff and then shown to our rooms, just amazing. We had a lovely breakfast every morning and the best croissants you could ask for. Roberto and his team at all 3 venues are the best at what they do. They work hard but yet still have time to interact with the customers and get to know you. We loved going to the Vista restaurant and try all the delicious options, the Spaghetti con Frutti di Mare (seafood) was one of our favourite as was the steak. Smith, Yukfhi and Jo Anna made it all the more special and memorable for us all. The chef (sorry l don't know you name) was so good at making his pizzas and pastas , so delicious. Every morning Jilani made our beds and impressed us with his towel art and his beautiful messages. Hassan restocked our snack drawer and fridge. Kamal and the team at the bar were so good at their job. We loved Eddy showing us a chicken curry at one of the cooking demonstration. The guys at the Dive Centre and the girls at the Spa all made the week special. Doing the Dolphin Cruise was the best, we got to see so many dolphins, just beyond words. We did have 2 rainy days but we were not bored as we still got to swim in the morning and my husband and the other couple snorkelled . Thy saw so many beautiful colourful fish , an octopus and a few turtles. When it did rain we went to lunch at the Pool Bar where you can get burgers and BLTs and chicken skewers, you just work around the rain. The rain is not cold and it usually lasts for 30 minutes and then you are good to go. We will definitely come back as we just LOVED every second of it. The most amazing two weeks in paradise

My husband and I visited Mercure Kooddoo for our honeymoon for two weeks and it was absolutely incredible. The resort is stunning, all staff couldn’t do enough to help you and were so welcoming and friendly, the food was always so delicious and they cater for dietary requirements extremely well which massively took the stress away at meal times. Their attention to detail is incredible and communication between different team clearly works well as everyone will remember it’s your honeymoon or birthday etc and they make you feel so special. There are so many activities to do and the dive centre staff were amazing, especially Agus and Gracia. Kamal on the pool bar was also so friendly and went above and beyond. We would recommend this resort to anyone wanting to come to the Maldives, it’s just out of this world and we definitely hope to return one day!

Anniversary Trip(One of A Kind) <3

My wife and I traveled all the way from NYC to spend our 1yr Anniversary at Mercure. It was WORTH EVERY SEC OF TRAVEL. The staff was welcoming and accommodating from start to finish. The food(breakfast,lunch,and dinner) was amazing. We did get the All inclusive package with the overwater bungalow. I recommend getting the all inclusive. Those drinks were FLOWING and it's always good not to worry about having my wallet(except for tipping) when I'm in swimming trunks 24/7. The resort being Adults only was a huge plus for us. Being surrounded by other mature and loving couples was a great vibe for the entire stay. At night they had diff activities for the guest. Our favorite was movie n popcorn night, and of course when the DJ setup and had the music jumping while some couples danced, conversed, and smoked shisha/cigars(me). They offer like a free 30minute couples photo shoot around the resort but we declined because we didn't want to waste anytime away from the beach, our private pool, or the main pool at the resort. The resort was immaculate. our fridge in the room was always stocked(snacks,liqour,juices soda).you are able to order a bucket of beer to your room. Which was great because it was a pretty good walk in that sun. Only regret we have is not staying an extra week 😔 .Thanks Mercure for an amazing EXPERIENCE.

Genuinely the most relaxing holiday I've ever had.

I have never felt as relaxed on holiday as I did here. It is a small resort, which in my mind is perfect. Super dive shop with lots of trips, we saw loads of sharks on the shark dive. Snorkeling from the house reef is amazing, rays, turtles, sharks, octopus and all manner of fish. We stayed in a water villa, there is a glass part of the floor to sit and watch the fish at night 😍😍. Bar and restaurants x 2 are great. All top shelf drinks included. Pool is lovely, the massages in the spa are fantastic. I used the laundry service, prompt, very good and a reasonable price. I laugh at people that go to the same country twice and here I am looking to book to the same resort for next year. I feel the best I have in a long time! The entire team there do what they can to ensure you have a super holiday.
